We moved to New York!

This summer Rick and I moved to a small town called Port Ewen in New York. We are about an hour and a half north of NYC. Rick was able to secure a position as a recruiter (Army) and so his new job took us here. He requested New York because he is from here and his family lives here. We moved into an apartment complex that sits right next to a little lake. I have been spending most of the summer by myself because Rick is away at recruiter school. I do have my work cut out for me though with all of the unpacking left to do!

Misty! I didn't know you had a blog. I'm glad I found yours. So you've moved to New York! I bet that is quite the change from Hawaii. I hope you guys are doing good. Let us know the next time you come to Utah!

Sweet pics girl. Just seeing you bring back a flood of good memories and good times on route to competions for cross country and all. Those were some awesome times. So you have been in Hawaii all this time hey? Lucky you! My hubby Girish and I have been here in Cali. since we graduated as this is where all my family mostly lives which is cool. I so miss Hawaii though, but not sure if it would be so cool raising a family there. I am sure if the opportunity lent itself I would happily accept though. So you still running huh? That swamp romp sounds sweet. It sounds like the camp pendleton mud run I do here in Cali every year, or at least I try to. It is hard to juggle good long runs with 3 boys and my husbands busy schedule. I would love nothing more than a good long run to Waimea Bay. I still remember training to run the Honolulu Marathon which I did with a TVA friend there and the training was so much fun. Can't beat Hawaiii runs! People ask me if I would ever do another, but probably not because nothing beats training for a marathon in scenic Hawaii. So off to NY? I just went there 2 years ago for vacation, actually Girish surprised me. What an amazing culture that is over there. I bet you will love it. Well this is getting really lengthy...so maybe you should just give me your phone number so I can call you sometime!!!
ALOHA ALWAYS,
